Kemi Discusses Diversity and Inclusivity at 10 Downing Street
Jamie Cowling – the Prime Minister’s housing and planning adviser invited Kemi, along with the BPF Futures Advisory Board, to discuss diversity, inclusivity and improving representation in the built environment. Taking place in the old cabinet room, the board presented their ideas to encourage cross sectional collaboration between the built environment’s public and private sectors.
The lengthy discussion highlighted a willingness from both sides to keep the dialogue open. Acknowledging that engagement with junior real estate professionals presents a real opportunity for the industry to continue to improve representation on every level. The talk ended with an invitation for the board to next meet with the junior housing and policy advisors.
